Buka Suara Usai Dimakzulkan, Presiden Korsel Akui Menyesal

Begini pernyataan Presiden Korsel, Park Geun Hye usai dimakzulkan.

Park Geun Hye akhirnya meninggalkan kantor kepresidenan (Blue House), Minggu (12/3). Pemakzulan dirinya telah diputuskan oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi beberapa waktu lalu.

Usai meninggalkan Blue House, Presiden Korea Selatan itu akhirnya angkat bicara. Park Geun Hye mengaku menyesal lantaran tidak bisa menyelesaikan masa jabatannya dengan baik.

"Saya menyesal tidak bisa menyelesaikan mandat yang diberikan sebagai presiden," ujar juru bicara Min Kyung Wook mengutip kata-kata Park Geun Hye. "Saya merasa bertanggung jawab atas semua yang terjadi."

Sebelumnya, Presiden Park juga sempat membicarakan mengenai kasus korupsi dan kolusi yang menjeratnya. Ia mengaku yakin jika "kebenaran akan terungkap."

"Ini akan memakan waktu cukup lama, tapi saya meyakini jika kebenaran akan segera terungkap," terang Presiden Park.

Sementara itu, posisi presiden saat ini tengah diisi oleh Perdana Menteri, Hwang Kyo Ahn. berdasarkan konstitusi, pemilihan presiden baru harus digelar dalam 60 hari.
